We don’t like to brag a lot but once again we called it!
Almost a year ago, some internet detectives noticed a poster in The Division 2 game featuring assassin holding an Apple of Eden, one of the most famous artifacts featured in numerous Assassin’s Creed games. The poster was titled “Valhalla”, the soldier seemed to be wearing a Norse-style helmet hinting the Viking connection and the direction where the iconic action game series might go next. So here it is! A year after it’s finally official – the next game in the Assassin’s Creed series will be called Valhalla.
While we still don’t have any additional details about the new game, we will be learning them shortly. Ubisoft already scheduled an official Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Cinematic World Premiere Trailer which should land on April 30th at 8 am PT / 11 am ET. We hope that it will show off something more than just apples and outfits.

Of course, it’s just a first trailer and we shouldn’t expect to hear about the release date anytime soon. Especially, given the current situation in the world. However, having in mind the fact that the game was first teased a year ago, we’re fairly positive that Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla might be scheduled to be released in 2020.
While we wait for the news, we suggest you browse through older Assassin’s Creed games. We have a lot of good deals for those who are yet unfamiliar with the series.
