If you’re a fan of Bleeding Edge, a game developed by Ninja Theory, we have some sad news to share. The developer studio announced that it won’t support the game any longer in order to focus on other games.
The news about this came via Tweet on Bleeding Edge’s account that stated that there will be no further content updates for the game. However, the game will still be playable on Xbox and PC – at least for the time being…
In case you haven’t heard about Bleeding Edge before, you should know that it’s an interesting multiplayer online combat game featuring 13 unique characters. Upon release, it received mixed reviews and failed to impress a lot of casual gamers. In recent weeks one of a few hundred players were playing it at the time.
The Tweet about discontinued support for the game also revealed Ninja Theory’s plans going forward. For now, the developer will mainly focus on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, the sequel to 2017’s award-winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. We’re hoping to hear more news about this upcoming game fairly soon.
