Same as every month Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get a chance to grab some new Games With Gold for their Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. For the first month of winter, Microsoft has revealed quite a list including Insane Robots, Jurassic World Evolution, Toy Story 3 and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD.
Insane Robots
For a whole month (from December 1st until December 31st) Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get free access to a very unique card battling game called Insane Robots. The game was released just last year and received a fair amount of praise – some critics even called it a game where Hearthstone meets Hunger Games. The game allows players to compete in intense one-on-one duels but it’s not just for PvP. Insane Robots boasts a 15+ hour single-player campaign featuring a story where you try to unlock memory fragments and restore robots’ sanity. A cute game for the fans of awesome indie titles.
Jurassic World Evolution
For most people, “Jurassic World” associates with dinosaurs and action, but Frontier Developments’ title is not quite that. Jurassic World Evolution is an interesting business simulation video game where the player has to construct his own dinosaur park with attractions for tourists and research facilities to bioengineer dinosaurs that think, feel, and react intelligently to the world around them. In the game, you’ll have to carefully manage all your attractions and facilities while dealing with some unexpected breakouts storms and other accidents that might occur during your play. The game will be available from December 16th to January 15th.
Toy Story 3
Here’s a game that needs no introduction. Every person out there knows the name of Toy Story and knows what can be expected from a game themed around the popular franchise. This game was developed in 2010 alongside the movie of the same name. Essentially, it is a cute 3D platform game that retells the story of the movie. If you’re a fan of this franchise be sure to grab this for your Xbox 360 console (or Xbox One through backward compatibility). Toy Story 3 will be available starting December 1st and will be free to download up until December 15th.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD
Last, but not least is the popular Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD game which served as a reboot for the franchise. The game was released in 2013 and received a lot of praise for its visuals and the combat system. However, some fans were not happy with the game’s story, but hey – vampires are not for everyone. If you like fast-paced action-adventure games, be sure to grab the title for your Xbox 360 or Xbox One from December 16th – until December 31st.
