Last week, Epic Games teased that a “record-breaking superstar” would be performing in Fortnite’s upcoming Rift Tour concert series. Turns out the mystery star is no other than Ariana Grande herself. Grande’s first Rift Tour performance takes place this Friday.
Epic Games presents the Rift Tour, an experience spanning five showtimes over three days, starting August 6th at 6 PM ET, through August 8th. Judging from the glimpses we caught in the trailer, Ariana Grande will arrive in Fortnite with several different outfits. That’s only fitting, considering that she’s the biggest pop icon to collaborate with Fortnite so far, so the show must fit the standard.
This virtual concert is one of the top Fortnite events that Epic Games has kicked off so far, and honestly, we can’t wait to see what this grand show is going to look like. Unfortunately, we have no details on Grande’s performance itself. Though we keep it in mind that Epic Games likely want to keep the fanbase on their toes, and we can tell it’s working already.
