Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) is an annual speed-running charity event, which raises money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. During last year, AGDQ raised more than 2 million dollars for the Foundation and on this year’s event, the organizers are planning to better themselves even more. AGDQ 2019 is the ninth week-long event and it’s starting right now.
Regardless of the noble goals, AGDQ is an awesome stream showcasing the best speed-runners in the world, breaking records across multiple games. Over the upcoming days, best players from all over the world will be attempting to speed run through old classics such as The Legend of Zelda, Castlevania, and Final Fantasy. Same as every year, there are a bunch of newcomers like Dead Cells or NieR: Automata.
As always, there are many streams showing the action so everybody can get involved. The best place to follow everything is to subscribe to the speedrun subreddit, where you’ll be able to find clips from all over the world. If you’re looking for more viewer-friendly experience, we suggest following AGDQ Twitch and YouTube channels for some live commentary. You can find the full schedule for the official part of the event here.
And if you’re enjoying the show, please take a moment to donate for the noble cause.
