After months of teasing Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 finally unveiled the official zombie mode for the game. It’s called Operation Apocalypse Z and it will be launching today. However, for the time being, the mode will be available only on PlayStation 4. It should be released on PC and Xbox One at a later date.
A bit earlier players of Black Ops 4’s battle royale Blackout mode noticed a lot of environmental changes in-game. Now, Treyarch fully revealed all the new content coming to Blackout, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes. You can check it out in a trailer below:
Zombies mode will include new campaign Alpha Omega, which features characters from precious missions fighting the undead in a reimagined version of iconic Call of Duty map Nuketown. However, it’s said that the new map will be 400 percent larger than the original, opening a new facility below ground level.
In addition, multiplayer mode will also get three new zombie-themed maps called Der Schatten, Remnant and Havana. It will also feature a new Specialist war robot Reaper with the ability to cover the mini-map.
Finally, there’s Blackout mode which will get appropriate zombie makeover. Current map will be split into two new ones featuring rivers of blood, thick fog and, of course, a lot of zombies.
