It’s about time! Activision finally revealed Crash Bandicoot 4 release dates for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. The game will debut on these platforms next month, on March 12th.
And here’s a new trailer to go along with the announcement:
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was originally released in 2020 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The game received a fair amount of praise while some called it the best Crash Bandicoot game in the series. Now, the developers decided to bring it to next-generation gaming platforms as well as Nintendo Switch. No wonder – this year marks the series’ 25th anniversary.
According to the publisher, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time next-gen version will boast way faster load times, and better visuals (4K resolution and 60 FPS).
However, that’s not all of the news regarding Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. Activision also announced that the game will eventually make its way to PC. However, the PC version of the game still doesn’t have a release date but should be released by the end of the year. The most eager fans can already pre-purchase it on the Battle.Net launcher.
It’s also worth mentioning that PS4 and Xbox One gamers won’t need to repurchase Crash Bandicoot 4 if they upgraded their consoles recently. Activision stated that next-gen upgrades will be free.
