A lot of time has passed since we’ve heard anything about Techland’s new game Dying Light 2. The game was announced at E3 2018, and ever since then, there was no news regarding the game’s status. However, it seems that E3 2019 is the event during which the fans will get some more information about the upcoming release of this highly anticipated title.
The latest Tweet by the developers of the game confirmed that Dying Light 2 will get a lot of attention in the upcoming E3 show. Who knows, we might even get a release date.
During its official reveal in 2018, Techland said that Dying Light 2 will be the studio’s ‘most ambitious project to date’. The developer also said that the game will have a lot of factions that will alter the overall course of the game and its story. Of course, if that’s true, it’s understandable why we still have so little details about the sequel, a high variety of features takes a lot of time to implement.
Another reason why Dying Light 2 launch is not yet revealed might be the other studio’s projects in the games’ universe. The first Dying Light is still supported by updates, while the studio is also working with its battle-royale spin-off, Dying Light: Bad Blood.
