During Bethesda’s E3 press conference the developers behind Fallout 76 announced a limited time pre-beta for the new battle royale mode called Nuclear Winter. During the free weekend, the mode received a bunch of new players and generally positive feedback so the publisher decided to extend testing for an unlimited time.
In a recent Bethesda’s blog post the studio wrote that it was blown away by the reactions and responses regarding the mode so the decision to extend the testing was a no-brainer. The post reads:
“With all the excitement and popularity, we wanted to let you know that the pre-beta sneak peek of Nuclear Winter will remain on and continue to receive updates, so keep sharing your feedback. There’s more to come! Thank you again for playing, sharing, and being the best community there is.”
In case you missed the news, Nuclear Winter is a new battle royale mode for Fallout 76 that allows players to take part in a 52-player fight until only one survivor remains. By playing the mode, players will be able to rank up, unlock new and exclusive Perks, deploy a C.A.M.P. and even launch nukes.
