The time has come! Arc System Works finally confirmed its highly anticipated Guilty Gear Strive’s release date which is now set for April 9th, 2021. The game will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. It’s also worth mentioning that players who decide to pre-order the game will be able to access this game early from April 6th.
If you’ve never heard about Guilty Gear before, you should know that it’s an interesting fighting game series based on a long-running manga and anime that made its way to the original PlayStation back in 1998. Since then players received 6 entries for various consoles and even arcades – 2 of them were featuring English dub and Guilty Gear Strive supposedly will be the third game created with Western markets in mind.
Guilty Gear Strive was originally announced a while back and originally was set to release in 2020, however, the COVID-19 pandemic ran its course and developers had to delay the title. According to developers, this new fighting game will debut with 15 characters with the latest one being Giovanna. Check her out in a new trailer:
