With a full month into the latest Hearthstone expansion called Descent of Dragons, the developers are now ready to conclude the year of the Dragon. However, it won’t be without a bang. Galakrond’s Awakening will be a new solo adventure with 4 chapters and 35 new cards.
As always, there will be two versions of the new solo adventure. Galakrond’s Awakening solo adventure will consist of 4 chapters with 3 battles each, however, there’s also a Heroic mode for those who will manage to complete the standard adventure. So in total, Galakrond’s Awakening will offer 24 unique challenges.
We should also mention that the new solo adventure won’t ditch its tradition to time-gate content. As mentioned above the first wing of the new adventure will launch on January 21st and will be free for all players, however, the remaining chapters will require you to spend some gold (or cash) and will be released one per week.
Lastly, a bunch of new cards are coming! There will be 35 new additions, but Blizzard currently remains silent about most of them. The game developer only gave a short glimpse of what’s waiting ahead and revealed 4 new cards from the Galakrond’s Awakening. You can find these below.
