Just a few days left until Mortal Kombat 11 launches on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. To get fans excited, NetherRealm Studios released an Official Launch Trailer which is full of nostalgia. MORTAL KOMBAT!!!
The new and exceptionally stylish Mortal Kombat 11 trailer features an impressive remix of the classic Mortal Kombat movie theme “Techno Syndrome” and reveals some never before seen story moments. It reveals that the main antagonist of the game Kronika intends to rewind time and restart history as we know it. Naturally, the Earth realm defenders led by Raiden intend to stop her.
The trailer also reveals a lot of classic characters who are not yet announced as playable. The new appearances include cybernetic ninjas Sektor and Cyrax, alongside Sheeva, who only appeared for a split second. However, it’s not yet clear whether these characters will be available right from the get-go, or will they be unlockable through the game or will they come to Mortal Kombat 11 later on, as the DLC characters.
In any case, Mortal Kombat 11 launch will be a true celebration for the fighting game genre fans. It’s scheduled for 23rd of April which means you still have some time to do your research about the game.
