The end of this fall is no exception as we will see an abundance of new and ambitious installments in various long-running video game series. Here we take a look at some of the most notable upcoming video games (November 2019) as well as some awesome game DLC expansions that you should definitely be excited for!

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 (November 5th)

Start the Tokyo Olympic Games earlier with Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020! Coming from Nintendo and SEGA, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will be released on the Switch platform. The game will allow players to switch between modern Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020 and retro Tokyo Olympics of 1964. Join Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog and their friends (as well as enemies) that make up the classic cast of Nintendo characters!

Red Dead Redemption 2 (November 7th)

Red Dead Redemption 2 is without a doubt one of the most ambitious upcoming video games. November 2019 will see the release of this massive Rockstar’s Western open-world game for the PC platform. We will join an outlaw Arthur Morgan as he makes his way on the harsh Old West of 1899. The PC port will expand upon an already massive amount of content this game is already offering on consoles! Need for Speed: Heat (November 8th)

Need for Speed franchise is returning with yet another installment as well! Among the upcoming video games (November 2019), we will witness the rise of the newest Need for Speed: Heat title. The new open-world racing game will take place in the fictional Palm City which is based on the real-world Miami, Florida. The player will get to choose between two types of races to participate in: sanctioned races that take place during the day, and illegal street racing that takes place during the night. Car chases with cops, detailed car modifications, beautiful open-world city – prepare to soak in all the great elements that made up classic NFS games! NFS: Heat is bound to make you sweat.  

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (November 15th)

Upcoming video games (November 2019) will also bring us a new Star Wars game called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. This third-person action-adventure game will take place between episodes III and IV of the movies and will feature a protagonist named Cal Kestis – a young Jedi padawan who is one of the survivors after the devastating Order 66 regime took charge. You’ll be persecuted by imperial stormtroopers as well as Sith inquisitors like the Second Sister. The game will feature cool lightsaber combat mechanics that will allow you to chop enemies into pieces and use a large variety of Force powers. YES, please!

Pokémon Sword & Shield (November 15th)

Pokémon Sword & Shield are also among the upcoming video games. November 2019 will see the return of Pokémon franchise with two versions of the same game, we should be used to this by now. This time it splits into Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. This open-world Pokémon game with 3D graphics will bring us to a new region of the Pokémon world, called Galar. Once again, the two-game versions will contain differences in Pokémon which you’ll be able to catch as well as gym leaders that you’ll be able to challenge. The prominent feature of them both is the new Dynamax effect that will temporarily transform Pokémon to a very large size.

Shenmue III (November 15th)

As it seems, we can expect the return of many long-running franchises among this year’s upcoming video games. November 2019 can expect to see the conclusion of Shenmue trilogy, a series of games that were started 20 years ago back on the SEGA’s Dreamcast console. The development of the game is led by the legendary Japanese game designer Yu Suzuki. The story of Shenmue III will follow a young martial artist named Ryo Hazuki who seeks vengeance for his murdered father. This will be a third-person open-world game with various side-activities, RPG elements, advanced fighting system mechanic and all of this will be presented within the setting of modern Asia. 

Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts (November 22nd) 

Upcoming video games (November 2019) include the release of the newest installment in the Sniper Ghost Warrior series. The latest game will be called Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts. This time around, the game will take us to Siberia and put us in the shoes of a hired hitman. Not only will we have to fight against the harsh conditions of Siberia, but we’ll also compete against rival snipers ready to ruin out assassination plans. Once again, the first-person shooter will focus on the use of a sniper rifle as well as reward the player for stealth kills.

Fortnite Darkfire Bundle (DLC) (November 5th)

The end of fall will reward gamers not only with full versions of upcoming video games. November 2019 also brings a bunch of cool downloadable added content. Fans of the addictive, cartoony battle royale giant Fortnite will be able to put their hands on the Darkfire Bundle – a new collection of skins and cosmetics that include Legendary outfits, Legendary black blings, dual pickaxes, and epic wraps, all of which come in threes with a single additional emote on the side. Style matters, and by now you should definitely know this!

The Sims 4: Discover University (DLC) (November 15th)

Included in the releases of the upcoming video games (November 2019) is the DLC expansion for the 4th installment in the famous virtual dollhouse series!
