Battlefield V is not done yet, as the developers from DICE are making plans to add yet another map into the pool for the popular first-person shooter game. The new map is called Operation Underground and is actually a revamped version of the old map, Operation Metro, which should be familiar to the Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 players.
Operation Underground will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One simultaneously but before it lands, the official Battlefield Twitter account suggests players take a look around.
The map will be a real joy to play if you love shootouts in tight areas. The big portion of the map is set underground in an abandoned subway tunnel with its stations. There are also some open areas above the ground if you feel a bit claustrophobic being down below.
According to DICE, Operation Underground will support Conquest, Breakthrough, Squad Conquest, and Team Deathmatch modes. Additionally, for a limited time after its release DICE will also enable Rush mode to get players acquainted with the new area.
And, of course, Operation Underground will be free to anyone who has Battlefield V. If by some chance you haven’t played it already, check out our price for the title.
