Rally fans are eagerly waiting for the next installment in their favorite DIRT rally series. However, the wait will be slightly longer since the developers of the game decided to delay the launch of the title and pushed it back by one week until October 16th.
While this won’t make many fans happy, it’s not all doom and gloom here. One week is not a big period of time. In addition, Codemasters has also announced another edition of the game called DIRT 5: Amplified Edition which will grant a three days early access before the game’s launch. This means that if you decide to purchase this edition you will be able to start your off-road racer career on October 13th.
And that’s not all the news we received. According to developers, DIRT 5 will offer free upgrades to the next generation version. In other words, if you buy DIRT 5 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will be able to upgrade your game to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X version right after the launch of these consoles.
From what we’ve seen so far, DIRT 5 looks like a great game if you’re into off-road racing. In the game’s youtube channel you can find a bunch of trailers featuring all-new career modes, new courses, vehicles, modes, and special in-game events. Not only that – the game features talented voice actors – Nolan North and Troy Baker will guide you through the game’s campaign and that’s reason enough to check this game out.
