Overcooked! 2 might be one of the greatest games you can play during the holiday season. It was included in our lists of the best games to play with your family, best co-op experiences, and more. And now this… The developers from Ghost Town Games are planning to release yet another holiday-themed update for Overcooked 2 called Winter Wonderland.
The new update should land on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on December 17th. According to the news, it’s going to be free for everyone, so there’s a sound reason to revisit the game or check it out for the first time if you haven’t already.
However, we still don’t know what Winter Wonderland will bring, but we hope to get a substantial amount of content. Last year, during the holiday season Overcooked! 2 fans got a chance to play through Kevin’s Christmas Cracker event, which brought 5 new levels and tasked the player with baking some Christmas sweets. We expect something similar this year as well.

However, every chef on the planet can back up our words – life in the kitchen is anything but simple. The game is at it’s best when playing it in local co-op mode – players have to multitask and coordinate their actions in the most absurd kitchens possible.
