After the initial hype about BlizzCon 2019 announcements wore off a bit, Blizzard can finally focus on their current games. Yesterday, the developers of Overwatch released a nice new batch of content which is worthy of your attention. Especially if you like playing as Mercy.
The first thing we want to tell you about is the new short story called Valkyrie. The story written by Michael Chu is 24 pages long and focuses on our beloved Dr. Angela Ziegler and her attempt to escape the reputation associated with Overwatch and Mercy. We don’t want to spoil you anything but it’s certainly worth a read. If you’re into Overwatch’s story and would like to learn more about the most powerful medic in the game – here’s a link.
However, if reading is not your preferred activity and you’re more of a shooting person, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a new event in-game called Mercy’s Recall Challenge. Similar to the previous events about Ana and Baptiste, you’ll need to win 9 games on any mode in order to get cool new cosmetic rewards. If you complete everything you’ll add an awesome Dr. Ziegler skin to your hero collection.
Like with all Overwatch events, this one will be available for a limited time, so if you want to claim all rewards, you need to hurry up. Mercy’s Recall Challenge is already live and will conclude on December 2nd. The event is held for both PC and consoles.
