Winter is coming to its end and that means a new pair of games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. To kick off this spring Sony offers up two awesome titles to play for free – Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic Forces.
Shadow of the Colossus
If you’re a long time fan of PlayStation you definitely heard about Shadow of the Colossus at some point in your gamer life. It’s a game by Bluepoint Games which was originally released back in 2005 as a PlayStation 2 exclusive. However, the game recently received its PlayStation 4 remake which features better graphics, slight gameplay tweaks, and more. The game was super popular back in the day and inspired a lot of other titles with colossal bosses. If you never had a chance to check it out, be sure to keep an eye out. The game will become free for PlayStation Plus members starting March 3rd.
Sonic Forces
Sonic The Hedgehog movie took the world by storm and encouraged gamers to revisit a lot of old Sonic titles. PlayStation Plus subscribers will get a chance to try one of the latest additions to this iconic game series for free! Sonic Forces was originally released in 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and received mixed reviews. It was mainly because the game fell short to deliver on its promise to create more dynamic gameplay. The game was too simple and uneven for the most dedicated platformer fans. However, if you’re a fan of Sonic and want to create and play with your own hedgehog-like avatar, Sonic Forces might be a great pick for you.
Both of these games will be free to download from March 3rd until April 6th if you maintain an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
