In a surprising bit of news, PlayStation has announced a new addition to the PlayStation Plus free games line-up. A bit early, if we may add… Usually, PS Plus games line-up changes after the first week of the month, though this time the first game got revealed and is available to download as of today.
And it’s not just a casual indie game. Call of Duty: WWII might be one of the best games in the Call of Duty series, boasting huge success among the fans. Call of Duty: WWII was released in 2017 and was developed by Sledgehammer Games. The game was praised by many as one of the best depictions of the war and as a great return to the series roots.
Call of Duty: WWII wasn’t just about the story. The game features awesome multiplayer modes and Nazi Zombie mode which later was added to other Call of Duty games. If you need any additional reasons to get hyped – Call of Duty: WWII was nominated and won numerous awards.
And that’s just a first game in the July’s PlayStation Plus line-up. Some rumors are saying that Call of Duty: WWII might not be the best game PlayStation is serving to kick off your summer. Early leaks suggest that the second game for PS Plus subscribers might be the iconic Spider-Man. Don’t take our word for granted. We’ll find out the second game later this week.
