If you were following our blog, you already know that here at Eneba we’re big fans of Red Dead Redemption 2. However, most of our team still didn’t get the chance to experience it in its full glory since only a handful of people in our office has a console at home. But this might soon change as the new information point towards the inevitable release of Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC.
After Rockstar Games updated their PC launcher we could sense that something was coming. This feeling grew stronger this week since some internet folks have noticed that Red Dead Redemption 2 has received a brand new rating from the Australian Classification Board. Having in mind the fact that the game was already rated in the region prior PS4 and Xbox One launch, this does seem suspicious. Back in the day, a similar story happened with GTA 5, as Rockstar games had to re-apply for an age rating prior to the PC release.
If all of this isn’t enough to convince you, here’s another bit of information. Australian Classification Board gave Red Dead Redemption 2 MA 15+ rating, the exact same as its console versions. So the question is, why would they bother to re-apply? And the answer is kind of obvious, don’t you think?
We hope to hear more about the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC in the coming weeks.
