Just a few weeks ago we’ve talked a bit about Resident Evil 3 remake demo landing soon. It seems like Capcom decided not to drag this out and announced the official release date. Resident Evil 3 Remake demo will be available for all PlayStation owners starting March 19th.
In the demo, players will be able to play as Jill Valentine trying to rescue some civilians from the Raccoon City with Nemesis lurking around. According to Capcom, the Resident Evil 3 remake demo will feature a special scavenger hunt with 20 Mr. Charlie statuettes hidden throughout the level. Upon finding them all you’ll be able to unlock a new cinematic trailer, so there’s at least some reward.
In addition to solo levels, there will also be an open beta test for Resident Evil Resistance multiplayer mode, which will become an essential part of the remake. It will be an all-new asymmetrical 4v1 multiplayer mode in which survivors try to escape a level controlled by a single (and evil) player. According to Capcom, the open beta will begin a week later on March 27th. It will feature one of the game’s evil guys called Daniel Fabron and four of the six survivors.
However, if you’re not interested in a free demo and already know that you’re going to buy this game no matter what, you can pre-order it right now, Resident Evil 3 remake launches as soon as an open beta for Resident Evil Resistance concludes, on April 3rd, 2020.
