Another year has passed and so did the annual Game Awards ceremony which was full of surprises as well as games. This year the ceremony was quite long but for a very good reason. The Game Awards 2019 was packed with new game announcements which will keep our blog team busy for quite a while. But before we dive deep into new games here’s a list of every winner in each of The Game Awards categories:

If we need to select a champion of this year’s awards, we would pick two. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice claimed almost every title it was nominated to (3 in total) including Game of the Year award. However, indie title Disco Elysium managed to get even more prizes. The game itself got 3 prizes and one was dedicated to the game creators ZU/UM.
