The biggest Dota 2 tournament The International 2019 has begun. After a week-long run of the group stage, final 16 has been completed and the brackets for the main event are set. The upper bracket has 8 teams – 4 top teams from each group, while the lower bracket is pitching teams who took the 5th to 8th place in their respective groups. Bottom teams in each group have been eliminated.
Upper bracket:
PSG.LGD vs. Virtus.pro

OG vs. Newbee
Team Secret vs. Evil Geniuses
Lower bracket:
Alliance vs. Royal Never Give Up

Upper bracket teams will play best-of-three matches in order to determine who will continue their path to TI9 final. The losing side will drop down to a lower bracket. The first round of the lower bracket will be a real blood-bath since the teams won’t be playing best-of-three and instead will participate in a single-elimination match.

Currently, The International 2019 prize pool is growing over 33 million dollars which means that the winning side will take more than 15 million dollars.
