The gaming industry awards season is not over yet as there’s one more celebration to look forward to. BAFTA Games Awards is a well known BAFTA spin-off dedicated solely for video games. This tradition began back in 2004 when British Academy saw the need for such a ceremony to honor the best creative talent working outside film and television. That’s what BAFTA stands for in the first place – British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
This year BAFTA Games Awards 2020 has an even longer list of nominations. A few new categories including Animation, Technical Achievement, Best Performer in a Leading Role, and Best Performer in a Supporting Role were all added to the mix.
