Update: The official trailer just dropped!
NetherRealm Studios love teasing Mortal Kombat 11 fans who wait for new characters. However, the teasing is not always going as planned since the internet is full of smart people who can extract and decypher the information to the slightest bits. The developers behind the game were planning to reveal Kombat Pack 1 characters with a new trailer, but some play with the URL allowed fans to see what the future holds for Mortal Kombat 11.
The DLC character roster is quite long. In addition to already released Shang Tsung and Nightwolf, NetherRealm Studios also plans to introduce Terminator T-800, Sindel, Joker, and Spawn. These characters will be released one at a time starting with Terminator T-800 which should debut on October 8th, Sindel will introduce herself on November 26th, while Joker and Spawn are set to be released in 2020.
We know it’s a long wait. Earlier rumors and teases by NetherRealm Studios allowed us to guess that characters such as Sindel and Spawn will be released very soon, but this only shows that copious amounts of teasing are not always great for the game. Instead of enjoying a huge DLC character roster, players are a bit disappointed to have to wait for so long. However, there’s still some room for speculation that after the release of Spawn, Mortal Kombat 11 might get another Kombat Pack with even more characters. A man can dream…
Mortal Kombat 11 is released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
