Apparently, Ubisoft is taking a page from Sony’s playbook and announced their new initiative. The company is planning to host a new community event called The Ubisoft Experience. The first one is scheduled for September 14-15 and will happen in Sydney, Australia.
According to the event description, it is an immersive community event featuring developer panels, competitions, fan gatherings, and more. Additionally, attendees will be able to play already released Ubisoft games and get a chance to check out some upcoming titles first-hand. The lineup of new games includes Watch Dogs: Legion, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Beyond Good & Evil 2, and Roller Champions.
However, the event won’t be free. The ticket prices are set for 20 AUD, but all the money gathered from ticket sales will be dedicated to a local charity organization.
If you’re a fan of Ubisoft and Sydney is a bit too far for you, don’t worry. The company also stated that The Ubisoft Experience won’t be a one-time event. Later, Ubisoft plans to bring it to Paris, France and Birmingham, England. However, the dates for the other two events haven’t been announced.
