In 2018, French game development studio, Dontnod, released their action RPG game called Vampyr. The game was praised by critics and received positive feedback from the community. Yesterday Dontnod Entertainment announced that the game finally surpassed its first huge milestone selling more than 1 million copies since the release. This awesome feat was achieved with the help of the publisher Focus Home Interactive, so the developers announced a new collaboration between the two.
According to the press release, a new co-production promises to be one of the most ambitious in the history of the publisher and the studio, but not much else about the new project was revealed. However, if you’re among the people who’ve enjoyed playing Vampyr, this sentence alone is enough to get excited. We’ll just have to wait and see what “ambitious” means in the context of Dontnod Entertainment and Focus Home Interactive.
As for Vampyr, the game is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and is yet to be released on Nintendo Switch. However, the release date for the Nintendo console is not public.
