The Eneba Chrome Browser Extension is an optional tool that simplifies the activation of your purchased Steam key. By using the extension, your Steam product is automatically activated directly into your account.

Which products can be activated via the Eneba Extension?

Currently, you can activate Steam games, DLCs, subscriptions, and software using the Eneba Extension.

Why should I use the Eneba Extension?

When using the extension, the product key remains hidden. This ensures that, in case of any issues, such as unexpected Steam errors, product region mismatches, or an invalid key from the seller, you retain your right to a full refund. Although all invalid, revoked, or already-used keys are eligible for a refund or replacement without the extension, using the extension streamlines the process by eliminating the need to gather evidence and contacting support.

Can I activate a product in my friend's Steam account as a gift?

No, the extension requires you to log into your own Steam account via the same browser. If you'd like to gift the key, you must view it and send it as text to your friend.

Can I activate a product via the extension after viewing my key?

No, activation through the extension is only available before you view the key.

Can I choose to view the key if I have the Eneba Extension installed?

Yes, you can always choose to view the key. However, once you do, you will no longer be able to use the extension to activate it.

What happens if my activation fails when using the Eneba Extension?

Activation may fail for several reasons, similar to entering a key manually. However, if it does, you will receive clear instructions on the next steps, and a full refund will always be an option.

What happens if my internet connection drops during activation?

If your connection drops, the activation will fail, and you will receive a corresponding error message. This will not affect your key or prevent you from activating your product via the extension once the connection is restored.

Does the Eneba Extension store any personal information or keys?

No, the Eneba Extension does not collect or store any personal information or keys. Your Steam session cookies are only used for the activation process, which occurs instantly, and are not stored.

Are there any region restrictions when activating via the Eneba Extension?

The Eneba Extension is available in the same countries/regions as the Eneba Marketplace. However, Steam has strict rules requiring the key's region to match your Steam account's region in order to activate a product. If there is a mismatch, the activation will fail, but don’t worry - you will be eligible for a full and immediate refund.
