The Unapologetic Sequel Revenge of The Savage Planet Arrives in May 2025

Fans of Journey to The Savage Planet from 2020 will be pleased to know that its satirical sequel Revenge of The Savage Planet will invade consoles and PCs on May 8, 2025.
The predecessor was widely praised for its humor and corporate satire, which is expected to be the throughline in the upcoming sequel.
“We can’t wait to see what misadventures players get into as they dive head first into Revenge of the Savage Planet when it launches on May 8th,” Alex Hutchinson, Creative Director at Raccoon Logic, said in a press release.
“With fresh tools and toys available for any and all eventualities, we think they’ll be more than equipped for their adventure in deep space.”
Crude Humor
The unnamed Spaceman is stuck on Planet AR-Y 26 without gear, job or plan, but that’s okay. Former employer, the fourth best interstellar exploration company in the industry, Kindred Aerospace’s, former CEO Martin Tweed, has some sound advice.
“While we may have tossed you aside like so much garbage, worry not. Because you can always turn to Kindred for a solution. With the right resources you can create tools such as the Goo Cannon from Sappooze,” Tweed says in the Revenge of The Savage Planet game trailer.
“Use conductive Fero Goo to shock and open organic doors or spread it on the ground to slow down a speedy foe.”
Players will also be introduced to the brand new “Griffin Splunker Pacifier” pistol: “The whackier the plan, the juicier the solution.”
Three Day Early Access And Full Release
Gamers who can’t wait to thrust themselves into action and shoot goo from the hip can enter the adventure prematurely three days ahead of its release, on May 5. Co-Op and crossplay lets players on different platforms work together against the hostile flora and fauna of four savage planets.
The game devs snuck in an additional message regarding the scope of the game, by saying: “There may be more than four planets. Maybe.”
After a hiatus from the Xbox Series, Raccoon Logic returns to the console with this game.
“We’re excited to be partnering with Xbox again to bring Revenge of the Savage Planet to Xbox Game Pass players on day one,” said Hutchinson.
