GameMax Rebranding With Sustainable Gaming Technology

Leading PC gaming components manufacturer, GameMax is set to rebrand and officially relaunch on Mar. 4, 2025. Known for its range of high-quality products that don’t break the bank, such as modular design towers and coolers, GameMax has already unveiled its redesigned lion logo and will reveal new sustainably-sourced products next month.

The company has already dabbled in this area, with many of its components being energy efficient. Products include the GameMax RGB Series 850W and GameMax RGB-850 PRO power supplies, which are 80 Gold Certified, meaning lower power consumption, less noise, and cooler temperatures.

“The new lion represents our renewed commitment to lead the charge into a new era,” GameMax said on their website, and added that their goal is “to drive innovation by focusing on what users truly need.”

Sustainability Practices

As part of their renewed commitment to gamers, GameMax have vowed to shift focus to using recyclable materials and creating compact, efficient packaging to minimize waste and environmental impact.

This also includes reducing single-use plastics, and having the company R&D team develop components that can reduce energy use and the carbon footprint. It calls this its “Evolve Responsibly” initiative, and it also includes partnering up with creators and the community to give users what they want from a tech company.

“We are working to adopt greener production processes and ethical sourcing of raw materials.”

Project SIMBA

One of the most notable projects GameMax has recently initiated is SIMBA. Players who also like to create their own custom PCs and gaming set-ups are encouraged to get in touch with GameMax and share their ideas.

GameMax sees this project as a means to inspire innovation and collaboration, and as such are willing to partner up with creators. The company also offers exclusive product giveaways to people who sign up to Project SIMBA.

Editor, occasional game dev, constant dad, horror writer, noisy musician. I love games that put effort into fun mechanics, even if there’s a bit of jank here and there. I’m also really keen on indie dev news. My first experience with video games was through the Game and Watch version of Donkey Kong, because I’m older than I look.
