GMKtec EVO-X1 Mini PC Released With AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370

Award-winning Chinese tech company GMKtec has released the latest in its line-up of mini PCs. The EVO-X1 can literally fit in the palm of a hand but its guts are absolutely crammed with modern electronics that gamers will appreciate.

Chief among these is the AMD Ryzen Al 9 HX 370, which features substantial processing speed, and AMD Radeon 890M graphics that should handle modern games with no problem.

“Capable of running mainstream AAA games and local large model applications smoothly,” GMKtec said in a press release. “With its hardware specifications and cost-performance advantages, the EVO-X1 is poised to become a benchmark product in the 2025 mini PC market.”

Compact And Powerful

The EVO-X1 is small enough to easily carry around, and on top of the AMD CPU and GPU it also includes 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD by default, with options to increase these to 64GB and 2TB.

There are also two cooling fans–one on the top and another on the bottom–to boost cooling for DDR/SSD. The bottom one is mounted in a VC Copper Premium base, too. Altogether these fans feature surround convection ducts and a colorful dazzle light.

Ports Up The Wazoo

Gamers who might want to plug in an additional or extra GPU can easily do so, thanks to an Oculink port. This allows data transfer of up to 63Gbps, so there should be zero issues running an external graphics card with newer titles.

This is joined by four USB ports, and a USB 4 one. A 3.5mm headphone jack, two LAN ports (both 2.5G), DP 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports round out the tiny but beefy package.

These latter two ports, and the USB 4, mean it’s possible to run three screens in up to 8K resolution, which is incredible no matter how you slice it. Gamers who want to grind through The Pit in Diablo IV, while multitasking a work spreadsheet and watching their favorite YouTuber’s latest episode, should be in hog heaven.

The EVO-X1 comes with Windows 11 Pro and is available now.
