NVIDIA Release Additional DLSS Game Updates

With the recent release of new NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs, DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) capabilities have advanced to version 4, and now even more games can take advantage of AI-assisted graphic upgrades.
Previously, Avowed and Indiana Jones And The Great Circle were updated to handle the new DLSS, but NVIDIA have since revealed a slew of other games that its RTX GPUs can improve. These include brand new titles as well as ones that have been doing the rounds for a while.
“This week, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation will be available at launch in the new 5v5 shooter, FragPunk, while Star Wars Outlaws shows off DLSS 4 enhancements in a new RTX On trailer,” Nvidia said in a press release. “There are even more DLSS integrations arriving soon for a whole host of games,” the company added.
DLSS at Launch
Recently, or soon-to-be, released compatible games that are launching with DLSS and other RTX bells and whistles include FragPunk, Deadlock, Dragonkin: The Banished, Rise of the Ronin and Vector Strike.
DLSS 4 affects these titles with fancy updates like Multi Frame Generation, which effectively ensures a higher, consistent frame-rate. Gamers will also be able to access NVIDIA Reflex, a built-in feature that optimizes latency to help ensure gameplay is as smooth as possible.
Older Games Getting a Boost
Star Wars Outlaws and Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced can now show off additional lighting tricks to enhance graphics. These include ray tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction, plus Reflex and DLSS Super Reconstruction.
“Surface detail is noticeably enhanced, shadows are more refined and accurate, reflection clarity is increased, and lighting is more refined, improving virtually every scene,” NIVIDIA said.
These latter two games also get the added enchantment of reduced loading times, as the RTX GPU can handle more graphic calculations with better efficiency than previous models.
