Possess Objects And Outlast Other Players to Win

Polterguys: Possession Party is a multiplayer party game developed by Madorium Ltd and published by Amplified Games Ltd, planned for release on April 17, 2025. The game will be available on consoles, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

All players are ghosts and the object of the game is to possess inanimate objects in the environment to get power-ups, more speed, and lay traps. The last player standing wins.

“With its engaging gameplay, accessible mechanics, and diverse range of settings, Polterguys offers a unique and entertaining experience for players of all skill levels,” the press release said.

Gameplay And Key Features

Polterguys combines whacky powerups with strategic mischief while being chased by an unstoppable monster. There are 10 levels with physics-based traps and toys that can be possessed and used as the new form of transport. Up to four players can compete against each other in split-screen mode.

Friends can also team up and challenge players from around the world online, take on daily and weekly challenges and leaderboards, or customize their personal area called “the haunt” with in-game addons. Beyond the main Monster Mash-mode, there are two additional mini-modes: Polterball and Repossession.

“The objective of the game is straightforward: be the last Polterguy standing. Players must evade a relentless monster that hunts them down, utilizing their possessed objects and powerups to outsmart and outrun their pursuer,” the press release said. “This creates a fast-paced, suspenseful experience where quick thinking and strategic movement are essential for survival.”
