Twitch Announce Partnership With StreamElements

Twitch has joined forces with StreamElements, its first ever third-party partnership that’s directly integrated into the Twitch Creator Dashboard. This partnership brings a bunch of helpful tools to the creator’s fingertips, most notably of which is easier monetization.
Streamers on Twitch can now complete their Creator Profile with extra details, and show that they’re open to potential sponsors, as well as make their channel easier to discover.
“Every StreamElements performance-based sponsorship you receive on Twitch will now include a minimum guaranteed payout,” said StreamElements in an official blog post.
“We’ve offered this to select streamers in the past, but thanks to our experience running sponsorships with thousands of you, we’re now rolling it out to all eligible Twitch streamers through the Twitch Creator Dashboard at launch.”
StreamElements’ Reputation
Gamers who also like to live stream or upload recorded content may already be familiar with StreamElements, as the company has partnered with other companies before. For example, it’s already linked with YouTube and X (Twitter), plus there’s an official plugin for OBS Studio.
The overall ethos of StreamElements is to empower creators to better engage their audience, build their brand, and monetize their content, for free. The company helps users achieve this by providing engagement tools for merchandise sales, a chatbot moderator, and even alerts that can be sent directly to fans.
What This Means For Twitch Streamers
The new and updated Creator Profile is now available through the Twitch Dashboard, and it lets users create a page that better showcases their content and personality. It also, crucially, displays infographics, like Average Daily Viewership and Known Audience Demographic.
“We’ve collaborated with over 70 brands as part of our Beta program and are continuing to sign up more advertisers,” said Twitch in an official blog post. “When brands express interest in working with you, you’ll see an opportunity within your sponsorships dashboard.”
However, the StreamElements partnerships doesn’t mean that creators have to ignore previous opportunities or stop doing things in a way they’re used to.
“It’s important to offer on-Twitch options for more convenience and visibility, but if you have preferred ways of working with brands, including using StreamElements directly, you’re free to do what suits your needs best.”
