    LucasArts is an American company that specializes in video game publishing and licensing, but back in the day, they developed quite a few amazing video games as well. LucasArts games are mostly known for their adventure-like nature, and their most famous games are based on Star Wars, and Indiana Jones franchises. The company is set in San Francisco, California. George Lucas founded it in 1982 May. The company was originally named Lucasfilm Games, and only in 1990 once the reorganization of Lucas companies took place, it was renamed into LucasArts. In 2012 the LucasArts games were bought by The Walt Disney Company and the internal development of their video games was stopped, although to this day the company continues to function as an official licensor.
